Gerald Heber Williston, 84, of Boynton Beach, FL passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014 at his home in Boynton Beach, Florida. Born in Bay Du Vin, New Brunswick, Canada on July 09, 1929 he was the son of Clay and Alexa Williston. When he was 17 years old he migrated to the United States and resided there for the rest of his life. He served in the Korean War from 1951-1953. He was a lifetime volunteer fireman for Arbor Hose Fire Company in Piscataway, New Jersey and a member of the Masonic Lodge. While in the Army he met his soon to be partner/friend in business, Joe Totorello and in 1960 they formed Coastal Recap Corporation which they operated until they retired in 1983. He spent his summer months at his cottage in Bay du Vin Beach and was looking forward to being there this summer as he was unable to make the trip last year. Gerald (affectionately called "Papooh" by his grandchildren) is survived by his wife Mary (Logie), daughter Sharon of the Miramichi, son Gerald (wife Martina) of Lake Worth, Fla., three grandchildren Hayley, Clay and Kelly of Lake Worth, Fla. and one sister Shirley Paterson of Moncton, New Brunswick. He was predeceased by his parents, two sisters, Gloria Pyott and Jane Raney, and his brother Calvin. Funeral services will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church in Bay du Vin at 2:00 PM Saturday, April 26 th . Reception will follow in the church hall. Expressions of sympathy donations to St. John the Evangelist Church, Bay du Vin or charity of your choice would be appreciated.
