Geraldine (Gerry) Little, 83, a long time resident of Delray Beach passed away on October 18, 2016.  Geraldine was born July 11, 1933 at her family's farm in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. The daughter of James and Rose (Strachota) Machovec, Geraldine was united in marriage to Jack W. Little on June 10, 1955.

Geraldine was active in sports and rural life activities in her youth, graduating valedictorian of her class. Geraldine and Jack moved their family to Delray Beach in the late 1960's. She was well known amongst the community having worked as the patient care coordinator for Dr.'s LaSalle, Krumholtz, and Lunsford for 26 years.

Geraldine is survived by her husband Jack and their three children, Jay, Mark, and Karen as well as their spouses Kim, Sue, and Lucius; her grandchildren, Bryan (and spouse Yvette) Little, Nathan Little, David Morrison, Pam Morrison, Brian Tyson, Jeff Tyson, Stephen Frazer, and Patrick Frazer, and her one great grandchild Braxtyn Little; her brother, Don Machovec, and a multitude of wonderful nieces and nephews.

According to Geraldine, her husband, children, grand-children are and were always the most important part of her life.  Because of them, she felt so very blessed and was filled with love and happiness.

Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6 ^th Ave., Delray Beach.  Memorial donations may be directed to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
