Gerardo Stefanelli, 91 of Delray Beach, FL and formerly of Waterbury, CT passed away on September 8, 2012 after a long illness. Jerry worked as a letter carrier for the United States Post Office in Waterbury, CT for 25 years. He then moved to Delray Beach, FL upon retirement. Jerry was predeceased by his wife, Concetta, in 2010. He is survived by his daughters Lucille S. Morea of Delray Beach, FL and Geraldine (Gaetano) Mauriello of Prospect, CT, a brother Louis Stefanelli of Waterbury, CT and 2 grandchildren Tani Ann & Jared Mauriello. Graveside services with military honors will be held on Monday, September 17, 2012, 11:15AM, Lane 1 at South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South State Road 7 (441), Lake Worth, FL 33467. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Jackson County Department on Aging "Adult Day Care Program", 100 County Services Park, Sylva, NC 28779 or the American Heart Association.
