Greg R. McNellen, 65, of Delray Beach passed away on June 28th, 2022.
Greg was born in Montreal, Canada on February 22nd, 1957 and moved to Delray Beach at the age of nine years old. He was happily employed at the Seagate Beach Club for 41 years, where he was known for his legendary hospitality. He was happiest with his feet in the sand and the sun at his back, meeting new people and making life long friends.
Greg passions were gardening, cooking, his beloved pets and planning a great party for family and friends. His Christmas parties were as unforgettable as he was. He will be missed by all who knew him and his kind and mischievous spirit.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years Cathy and his two children, daughter Anna (fiancée Evan Webb) and son Andrew. His mother Jeanne McNellen, sister Susan (Chuck) Kaler and his 3 nieces & 1 nephew and their children. He was pre-deceased by his father Trevor McNellen and twin brother, Gary McNellen & beloved sister-in-law Mary Davis Browning. He was also loved and will be missed by his Michigan family which include his mother in law, Dorothy Davis, 6 Brothers in law, 3 Sisters in law and 10 nieces and nephews.
The entire family would like to express that although our loss is deep, how fortunate and blessed we feel for Greg being a part of our lives and the everlasting impact he will have on us all.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm with a 7:00pm Memorial Service at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Avenue, Delray Beach.
