Helen Louise Ledbetter Huber, 84, of Delray Beach, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her family. Helen and her husband Bud were the owners of Huber Drugs, a Delray institution, and ran the store from 1952 until Bud's death in 1989. She was an active member of Delray Beach Orchid Society and Past President of the local chapter of Business and Professional Women. Helen was an avid crafter and quilter. She is survived by her son, August C. (Debbie) Huber Jr. of Glendale, AZ, daughter, Theresa (Danny) Jackson of Eatonton, GA and daughter, Vickie Langdon of Delray Beach, sister, Saralyn (Gary) Buzen of Delray Beach, 12 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Mrs. Huber was predeceased by her husband, August C. (Bud) Huber Sr. in 1989 and her great granddaughter Jolee Bella Landrum. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 from 2PM to 4PM and 6PM to 8PM at the LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 745 NE 6th Ave. (N. Federal Hwy.) Delray Beach. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2014 1:00PM at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Delray Beach Cemetery.
