Pete Widmann was born in Greenwich, Connecticut on July 4, 1936. He graduated from Greenwich High School and the University of Maine, with a bachelor of arts degree. He met his wife, Susan Stevens at the Diamond Match Company on Greenwich Avenue in 1960. They were married at the First Presbyterian Church. Both children were born in Greenwich. Pete was blessed with a wonderful son and daughter in law, Brian Hill and Robin Widmann. He had four granddaughters, Lauren Hill 26, Katie Hill 22, and Taylor Widmann 10, and Ally Widmann 8. Pete was transferred, in 1976 to Rockford and worked for Century Tool until 1990. He belonged to Mauh Nah Tee See Country Club and loved playing golf. In 2003 Pete and Sue moved to Delray Beach to spend their retirement.
