Ira J. "Skip" Skinner, 81, of Boynton Beach went to be with the Lord on November 13, 2016. He was the founder of Skinner Dental Laboratory in 1974 located in Delray Beach.

Ira is survived by his 3 children: Deacon Rusty ( Wanda) Skinner of Boynton Beach, Lisa (Terry) Espersen of Wake Forest, NC and Aaron Skinner of Boynton Beach, 3 grandchildren: Wendy, Amy & Cindy, brother Gerald (Mary Anne) Skinner and numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his wife, Billie Faye in 2013.

A visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2016 from 5:00PM to 7:00PM at Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave. (North Fed Hwy), Delray Beach. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, November 19, 2016 9:30AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd. Delray Beach. Burial will be in Elgin, SC, at a later date.
