Irene Freeburger Oddo, age 96 of Delray Beach, Florida and formerly
of Baltimore, MD passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014. Irene served in the US Navy during WWII as a Flight Nurse in the Asiatic Theater. She also worked as an administrative nurse for John Hopkins University Hospital. Irene is survived by her husband of 67 years, Samuel James Oddo of Delray Beach, FL. She is also survived by her niece Paulette (Clyde) Thomas of California. Burial with military honors will be held at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
