Jack William Shelton, 83, of Lake Worth, FL passed away on November 11, 2023.

He was born February 6, 1940 to J.W. Shelton and Vivian Jones in Augusta, Georgia. After an honorable discharge from the United States Navy, he graduated from Georgia Tech and relocated to Florida to begin his career with Florida Power & Light. While working with FP&L, he served the South Florida community for over 35 years as a supervisor and continued working after his retirement on many hurricane response teams.

Jack was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.

He is survived by his wife Elaine and two children, Jason and Rae; as well as his grandchildren Krystal, Samantha and Jacob and great-granddaughter Tessa. He is also survived by sisters Lynda and Phyllis.

Jack is predeceased by his brother Ronnie.

Urn burial will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023, 1:00pm in Lane 3 at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 South SR 7, Lake Worth, FL 33467.
