Jaclyn Nicole
Hoglund
March 2, 1981 – April 3, 2026
Jaclyn Nicole Hoglund, age 45, passed away on April 3, 2026, in Haverhill, FL. She was born March 2, 1981, to Michael and Bobbie Hoglund in Harrisburg, PA. Jackie, as she was affectionately known, resided in southern Maryland for many years before relocating to south Florida. She lived fiercely with Down syndrome and showed this world that it didn't define her.
Jackie was the brightest light in every room, always ready with a huge smile, a warm hug, and a spirit that made everyone feel loved. She had a way of bringing joy to even the simplest moments, and her kindness left a lasting imprint on everyone who knew her.
She was employed in retail over the years, and enjoyed watching The Office, Full House, and Saved by the Bell. She was a huge movie fan and especially enjoyed Disney movies. She was an accomplished Special Olympics athlete in track and field, gymnastics, and bowling. Jackie was the biggest fan of the Baltimore Orioles and Washington Commanders teams.
Jackie was a member of Job's Daughters International. She held many offices and served as an adult volunteer at Bethel #62, La Plata, MD. She made many friends over the years attending the annual international conference.
Jackie is survived by her mother Bobbie, sister Kim, brothers Todd and Greg, sister-in-law Leslie, and nieces and nephews Naomi, Quentin, Jasmine, Joel, Elise, Tyler, and Miles. She is preceded in death by her father, Michael.
A family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Down Syndrome Society,
