Our beautiful and beloved daughter, Jacqueline L. Zuniga, 43, of Delray Beach, passed away on January 13, 2022. She was a loving sister to Matthew Zuniga and Anthony Zuniga, an awesome Titi to her nephew, Jacob Zuniga and her niece, Layla Zuniga, all of Delray Beach. Jackie had numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who live throughout the country.

Jackie was born in Colorado, but she lived in and around Delray Beach for most of her life. She worked very hard everyday for her health. She was a dialysis patient for many years and was the blessed and grateful recipient of three kidney transplants. Many organizations, including Make-A-Wish, American Kidney Fund, Organ donor registration, National Foundation for Transplants, and Susan G. Komen, were very important to her and she was very involved in their fundraising.

Jackie was a graduate of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic School and Atlantic High School, both in Delray Beach, and she studied Business Administration/Management at Palm Beach State College in Boca Raton, Florida.

Jackie had worked as a Branch Manager at Kennedy's Barber Club in Delray Beach, an Executive Customer Relations Representative at Office Depot Headquarters, and a Receptionist/Secretary at East Coast Finance and Mortgage in Delray Beach.

Jackie was an avid reader and she loved to bake. She loved karaoke, all genres of music and movies. She remembered every line and could quote from any song or movie for any given situation. Laughing and making others laugh was one of her passions. Jackie had a radiant smile, an infectious laugh, a sassy wit, a loving, compassionate heart, and a playful twinkle in her eye. She was a forever sister/friend/cousin to all who met her.

It is so very difficult to summarize our daughter's life in such a short time. What is so very true is that our charming, engaging, talkative, fearless, delightful, enchanting, gorgeous, mischievous, fun-loving, "fun-sized", feisty, spunky Jackie loved fiercely and was well loved. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.

A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Lucy Catholic Church, 3510 S. Ocean Blvd., Highland Beach, FL on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at 11AM. A Celebration of Life reception will be held at the Delray Beach Golf Club, 2200 Highland Avenue, Delray Beach, FL at 1PM for family and friends.
