James Patrick Daly (or Jimmy, to friends and family) passed away on September 17, 2016 in Austin, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Rita, and a daughter, Nancy Lee. Jimmy passed peacefully in hospice care with his wife by his side and loved ones nearby.

Jimmy grew up in South Florida with his many siblings and countless friends. Never one to meet a stranger, he brought laughter and light into the lives of everyone he knew. In 1990, he became a father to Nancy Lee Daly, and walked her down the aisle in 2015. In 2000, he fell in love with his soon-to-be wife, Rita. They shared 14 years of marriage in Austin, TX.

Though lost far too soon, Jimmy's family and loved ones will cherish their many happy memories and honor him with laughter shared by friends, shared evenings in the pub, and warm moments with those they hold most dear.

We will celebrate Jimmy's life with a memorial service on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 5 PM at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Avenue (North Federal Highway),Delray Beach and at the St. Patrick's Parade on March 11.
