Obituary

James Leo Siers, 86, of Boynton Beach passed away on March 3, 2014. Leo was predeceased by his wife Edith in 1996. He is survived by his two sons, Michael D. Siers of Boynton Beach and Joseph B. Siers of Wesley Chapel, FL. He also leaves four grandchildren, James M Siers of Boca Raton, Chad J Siers (Meaghan) Siers of San Antonio, Jamie M Siers of Big Pine Key, FL, and Chase N Siers of Wesley Chapel, FL and great grandchildren, Kendall and Caitlyn.

Leo retired from St Mary's Hospital in 1990, where he managed the radiology department. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War.

Leo was an avid baseball player and loved the game his entire life. Leo adored all of his grandchildren and always kept in touch with them, frequently calling his grandson Chad to go over the latest player and team statistics. His legacy for putting family first will forever be remembered by those who loved him.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 10, 2014, 10AM at the LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 745 NE 6th Ave. (N. Fed Hwy), Delray Beach with interment to follow at the Boynton Beach Cemetery.
