Jamesina Bathgate Peirce ("Jamie") of Delray Beach, Florida passed away on Tuesday, March 24, 2020 at the age of 82.

Jamie was predeceased by her husband, Bill, and her three older sisters, Babs, Joan and Audie. She is survived by her four children, Holly, Kittson, Dan and Will, her seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, two nieces, and two nephews.

Jamie was born in New London, CT to George and Barbara Bathgate in 1937. As a young woman she earned her degree from Katherine Gibbs College, and moved to Boston to work as a secretary. She returned to Connecticut when she married Bill, and they raised their family in Stonington. Summer vacations were spent in Rangeley, ME, and when Bill retired, they split their time between their lake house in Maine and Delray Beach.

A lover of animals and sports, Jamie was known for her dynamic spirit, her candid disposition, her ruthlessness on the tennis court, and her ability to strike up a conversation wherever she went.

Due to the Coronavirus outbreak, her family have not yet planned a celebration of her life.
