Jennifer Lynn Snelson, 49, of Delray Beach, FL and formerly of Howland, OH passed away on August 9th, 2013 at her residence here in Florida.
Jenny was born Oct 6, 1963, in Warren, OH, the daughter of Lynn and Lois Snelson of Warren.
Jenny attended Youngstown State University majoring in accounting. She had great love for all animals, particularly horses. She spent many years competing with her horse "Annie" in the Pennsylvania and Ohio Appaloosa Horse Clubs where she made many friends and was respected as one of the best showmen. She was a Trumbull County member of 4-H attending the Ohio State Fair after qualifying for state competition. She also won versatility in the Western Reserve Horse Club.
Jenny was kind and sweet but also had a gift of humor. She loved children and took great pride in her nieces and nephews. Family was very important to her.
Jenny was a member of Christ Episcopal Church of Warren, OH. Survivors include her father; Lynn A. Snelson of Warren, sister; Tamara (Mark) L. Snelson-Craig of Minneapolis, a brother; Ralph (Erica) A. Snelson, II of Warren. She is also survived by a niece; Jessica Craig, nephew; Jacob Snelson, niece; Caleigh Craig and nephew; Brady Snelson.
Jenny was preceded in death by her mother; Lois Sue Snelson, her grandfather; Ralph A. Snelson, grandmother; Anne Snelson, grandfather; Robert P. Southard, and her grandmother; Jean Southard.
Private family services will be held in honor of her life in Warren, OH.
