Joan Mae Blair, 89, of Delray Beach FL, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2021. Born in West Lebanon, New Hampshire, she was the oldest child of the late Albert A. Benjamin and Loretta McCarthy Benjamin. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo A, Blair, her son, Gary Leo Blair and her brother William Benjamin. She is survived by her daughter, Sue M. Blair of Highlands, NC, and her grandson, Taylor (Chuck) Blair of Delray Beach.

Joan graduated in 1949 from Hanover High School in White River Junction, Vermont. She married July, 2, 1949 becoming a lifelong housewife and mother. She was an avid volunteer at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic School while her grandson was a student and she volunteered for the church thrift shop for many years.

She was laid to rest at the Boca Raton Mausoleum. Rev. D. Brian Horgan, Ph.D, Pastor officiated at the cryptside service.  A Memorial will be held at a later date.
