Joan was born in Ridgefield, Connecticut where she lived until her marriage to Thomas B Doyle. Together they lived in New York City, Plainfield, New Jersey, Cincinnati, Ohio, and most recently in Juno Beach, Florida. Joan was pre-deceased by her husband, Thomas B. Doyle, and daughter, Kathleen Doyle Pavelish. She had three other daughters, Joan (Jody) Doyle Block (L. Thomas Block) of Juno Beach, Florida and Louisville, KY; Mary Doyle Kenkel of Alexandria, VA, and Margaret (Meg) Doyle (Stefan Kenn) of Montvale, NJ. Joan was the grandmother to 8 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and 1 step-grandchild.
