Joan Mitrani died at her home in Delray Beach on January 6, 2024 after a brief illness.

Born in Paterson, NJ on December 5, 1932, Joan lived a full and adventurous life.  She loved her family, daughter Lee (Richard) Alcott, sons Michael (Jackie) Doyle, Kevin (Malin) Doyle, grandchildren Lindsay, Maxwell, and Cooper, and great grandson Desmond.

Joan traveled extensively and moved to Delray Beach thirty years ago with her husband Robert Mitrani who predeceases her.  Volunteering for many years at Bethesda East Hospital, Joan also worked at Old School Square and the Cornell Art Museum.  She was an artist and a student.

Joan will be dearly missed by her family as well as Nidia Nino and her neighbors at Barr Terrace.  Her kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who knew her.
