Joan Perkins (Berg), 85, of Delray Beach, Florida and formerly of Hockessin, Delaware and New City, New York, passed away on June 1, 2016. Mrs. Perkins was pre deceased by her husband, Donald Perkins in 1999, and brothers William Lauda and Richard Lauda. Cherishing her memory are her children, Kathy Fraczkowski (Dave Fraczkowski) of Wilmington, DE, Diane Perkins (Paul Mandel) of Parkland, FL, and Tom Perkins (Missy Perkins) of Great Falls, VA, as well as 7 grandchildren (Andy, Mike, Adrienne, Greg, Katie, Matthew, and Jack), and countless friends and loved family members.

Joan graduated from Bayside High School, in Bayside, New York, and Goldey-Beacom College, in Wilmington, Delaware. She was an active parishioner at Emmanuel Catholic Church in Delray Beach, Florida, and a long time volunteer at Delray Medical Center. Joan lived her life to the fullest, embracing every opportunity to celebrate friends and family.

Friends and family may call on Monday, June 6, 2016 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the
LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 745 NE 6th Avenue (North Fed Hwy.), Delray Beach. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 7, 2016, 10:00AM at EMMANUEL CATHOLIC CHURCH, 15700 South Military Trail, Delray Beach.
