Joan M. Scanlon, 85, of Delray Beach passed away May 16, 2017. Joan is survived by her daughters, Joanne and Jayne Scanlon both of Delray Beach; sons, John M. and James and his wife Diana of Seaford, NY; grandson, Anthony Vercillo; great grand-daughter, Serenity Poth of Yorba Linda, CA; brother, Lawrence Conway and his wife, Sharon and numerous nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband, John P. Scanlon in 2006.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday, May 19, 2017 from 3PM to 6PM at Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Avenue, Delray Beach. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 20th at 10AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church in Delray Beach. Burial will be held at South Florida National Cemetery on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 11AM in Lane 5.
