Joanne R. Day, 93, of Delray Beach, FL passed away on March 31, 2024.  Mrs. Day was predeceased by her husband Maj. Alanson R. Day, US Army (Ret.) and son, Craig Michael Day.  She is survived by her daughter Margaret Day of Hobe Sound, FL; son A. Ritner Day of Atlanta, GA; son and daughter-in-law Stephen and Marilyn Day of Tequesta, FL; five grandchildren/stepgrandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Day was a life-long resident of Palm Beach County, married in West Palm Beach in 1951 and resided in Delray Beach for over 65 years.  She was the owner and manager of several retail shops, including inside The Breakers Palm Beach, The Cloister at Sea Island Resort, and Pinehurst Resort, NC.

Funeral Services will be held at Woodlawn Cemetery, followed by a memorial Mass.  LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, Delray Beach, in charge of arrangements.
