John V. Ambrose, 68, of Delray Beach, FL and formerly of Worcester, MA passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2015. John retired from the Secret Service. He then went on to work with the State Department for the Office of the Inspector General. He also worked for RTC and the FDIC before retiring in 1997. John is survived by his wife, Jennifer Ambrose of Delray Beach, FL; daughters, Lauren (David) Nieland of Plantation, FL & Erica Ambrose of Buffalo, NY; stepdaughter, Gretchen (Carl) Moraw of Clarkston, MI and 6 grandchildren. Visiting hours will be held on Friday, January 9, 2015 from 9:30AM – 10:30AM at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave. Delray Beach, FL 33483. A funeral mass will follow at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd. Delray Beach, FL 33483 at 11:00AM followed by entombment at The Gardens, 4103 N. Military Trail Boca Raton, Florida 33431.
