John Henry Cincotta passed away on July 9, 2021 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his childhood sweetheart and wife, Marie Girimonti Cincotta, who went to be with the Lord on December 14, 2008. Their love story lasted 58 years. He was born to two loving parents, Angelo and Clara Cincotta, in Coney Island, New York on July 22, 1929. He was the third born of six children: Anna, Jennie, Angelo, Marion, and Dominick.
John was a veteran, who served in World War II and the Korean War. After the service, he went on to become a conductor on the Long Island Railroad. He will be remembered by his upbeat and fun-loving personality, endless jokes and wisdom, and his unconditional love for his family. He was a beautiful soul who never met a stranger he didn't like. John enjoyed cooking, gambling, learning, and had passion for educating others. He is survived by his children, Denise, Debbie, Johnny, and Mark; his significant other, Marguerite Lee, his seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
To honor John's life, everyone is invited to a gathering of family and friends on Friday, July 23, 2021 at LORNE & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 745 NE 6

Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida. At 11:30 AM, a prayer ceremony will be held, followed by a burial at 1:30 PM at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
The funeral home and cemetery will not be accepting flowers.
