John J. Denery, 80, of Delray Beach passed away on August 10th, 2019.  John was a class of 1956 graduate of Saint Ann Catholic School in West Palm Beach and also attended the University of Florida.  After serving in the United States Army, he then served as a US postal worker while raising his family for many years in Westchester, New York prior to returning to his roots in Delray Beach.  John was predeceased by his sisters Mary Gosnell, Theresa Denery, & Joan Denery.

"Papa" is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Isobel Denery, his sister Anne Brown, his sons Justin Denery & Stephen Denery, his daughter Lisa McNeil, and his 9 grandchildren whom he adored.

John will be remembered as a devoted husband, a doting Papa to his grandchildren, and a man of faith.  His smile and laughter will be missed by all those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Friends may call on Tuesday, August 13th, 2019 from 6PM to 8PM at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6 ^th Avenue (North Federal Highway), Delray Beach.  A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, August 14th, 2019 at 10AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Church, 840 George Bush Blvd. Delray Beach, FL 33483.
