Joe Anicola, 61, of Boynton Beach, Florida and formerly of South Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on August 28, 2017. He faced his battle with cancer with the same courage, dignity and humor that marked his life. He is predeceased by his mother, Marnie (Somers) Anicola. He is survived by his father Joseph, his beloved wife Michele of 33 years. His children, Carlynna Bonfiglio Golas, Joseph Anicola III and Alexa Gash and her husband Peter; grandchildren, Presley, Zachary, Isabella Golas and Valentina Gash; his brother James Anicola and sister Teresa Anicola. Joe also leaves behind many loving family members and friends who loved him dearly.

Joe loved his family; he had an infectious laugh and always brightened the room. He loved playing golf with his buddies, playing the guitar, watching Isabella play softball and the EAGLES. Some of Joe's best memories were coaching midget football and wrestling.

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 31, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm with a 7:00pm Funeral Service at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave., Delray Beach, FL. Friends are invited back to the Anicola residence after the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
