Joseph Andrew Brothers (Joe) passed away on May 3, 2024 in Lake Worth, FL after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.  Joe was born in Newark, DE to Andrew and Louise Brothers.  He is predeceased by his parents, brother (Tom) and sister (Rita).

Joe was born May 29, 1945 and grew up in Newark, DE.  He attended Lehigh University for undergrad on an academic scholarship.  After earning his MBA from the University of Delaware, he worked in commercial real estate for nearly 20 years before venturing out to pursue his true passion in real estate.  Joe loved meeting and befriending people from all walks of life and was a stranger to no one.  Intensely passionate about sports, whether watching any of the Philadelphia teams (particularly the Eagles), or playing tennis.  Joe was a long-time member of Wilmington Country Club, Bay Head Yacht Club and Gulf Stream Bath & Tennis, and The Little Club where he loved playing tennis and taking up golf later in life.

Joe is survived by his wife Ellen, son Joseph Jr., daughter Anne (Derek) Pyne, and his nephew Dan (Kim) Raff, niece Kimberly Raff McKean, many cousins and grand nieces and nephews, and friends throughout the country.  He will be sorely missed.
