Josephine L. Schanel, of Delray Beach and formerly of Long Island, NY passed away on December 23, 2020, her 87th birthday. Josephine was predeceased by her husbands Dominick Smalling and Frank Schanel. She is survived by her daughter Suzanne Benedetto (Arnold), her son Ronald Smalling, 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Also surviving her is a brother Eugene Rossetti, and several nieces and nephews. Her brother Carl and sister Bernice predeceased her. Josephine is also survived by 4 step-children, Michael, David (Brigitte), Joseph (Barbara) and Vicki Jenkins(Jack), 9 step-grandchildren and 4 step-great grandchildren.

Friends may call on Monday, January 11, 2021 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Avenue, Delray Beach.
