Obituary

Juanita Quijano, 93, of High Point in Delray Beach, passed away on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.  Today we are saying goodbye to a fabulous woman. Juanita was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and grandmother and great grandmother.  Juanita traveled the world with her husband, our father Gil E. Quijano who was in the Army. Juanita was very devoted to her family.

Juanita is survived by her children Rick, Freddy, Gigi, Linda and myself Evelyn.

Our mother was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico where she met our father and were married.  Juanita was a caring individual, funny and had a quirky sense of humor and a flare for fashion.  Juanita would call everyone every morning to make sure they were fine.  Juanita was known as "Mighty Mouse" by her condo association. Our nickname for mom was AT&T because she loved using her cell phone and reaching out to everyone she knew.  Our mother was an amazing person and very nurturing.

We are very sad to bid her farewell. Mom, Rest in peace and say hello to Dad for us.  We will always love you and you will truly be missed.

Visitation will be held at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33483 on Thursday, September 22, 2022 from 10:00am to 12 Noon with a 12 Noon Funeral Service.  Burial will follow at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL at 1:30pm in Lane 5.
