Julie F. Toeniskoetter, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, a dear friend to many, and a well-respected member of the community, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2024. Born in Rochester, PA to Althea and Robert Foy on March 14, 1950, Julie spent her youth in Aliquippa, PA, early adulthood in St. Louis, MO and the remainder in Davie, FL.
Julie received her undergraduate degree from the University of Dayton in 1971 and became a Hematologist. Julie's interest in computers led to a master's degree in information technology. After a successful career managing hospital laboratories, she oversaw the design and implementation of the IT systems for Integral Regional Laboratories (IRL). Her success as an IT executive with IRL led to her final career move to Computer Sciences Corporation where she retired.
Julie is survived by favorite son Jeff Toeniskoetter (Stacy) and favorite son Matt Toeniskoetter (Kathrin). She is predeceased by her parents, Robert and Althea and her baby brother, RJ (Carrie). Julie also leaves behind her sister, Ellen Stroope (Ron), twin brother James Foy (Romeyn), her four favorite grandchildren - Hanna Thea Marie, Abigail Elizabeth, Jonas Matthew and Lena Marie Toeniskoetter, many favorite nieces, nephews, and an extended network of favorite friends and family all of whom will remember her as a warm and loving person.
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, December 27, 2024 at 11:30 AM at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd, Delray Beach, FL. Burial will be Monday, December 30, 2024 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Heaven Catholic Cemetery, 1500 State Rd 7 N, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to Hospice of Palm Beach County in her memory.
