Kenneth William Brotz, of North Plainfield, New Jersey, passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2023 at his home in Lauderhill, Florida.

Kenneth was born on August 11, 1968, in Livingston, New Jersey to Nativia and John (Jack) Brotz.  He graduated from North Plainfield High School in 1986 and Montclair State University in 1990. Kenneth was a bright, happy-go-lucky, outgoing soul.  He enjoyed spending time with his friends and family, going to the beach, attending concerts and singing karaoke, and always expressing his love for music, especially the 70s and 80s.  Kenneth fulfilled his dream of moving to Florida in January 2017 for the beautiful beaches and hot weather.

He is survived by his daughter Amanda Viruet-Brotz, his mother Nativia, his two brothers Steven and Christopher, and his two nephews David and Matthew, and great nieces Hope and Summer.  He was preceded in death by his father John J, and his niece Debra.

A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, July 27, 2023, 2:00 pm at Sunshine Cathedral, 1480 SW 9th Avenue, Fort Lauderdale, Florida 33315- (954) 462-2004.
