Ken was born in Union, SC and moved, with his parents, to Delray Beach at a young age. He attended local schools and graduated from Atlantic Community High School in 1975. In 1980, he married Colette Northrup, in Boynton Beach and began living there lives together and raised a family. He was a loving husband and father.
Ken worked as a postal employee for many years and ventured on to build golf courses and athletic fields. As an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church, in Delray Beach, he was not only an Elder of the church but he also was very involved with the Youth. His love for music never ended, starting with "The Arisers" and continuing to play trumpet for church services.
