On Saturday, February 4, 2023, Leonard S. Lewandowski beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother peacefully passed away.  Originally from Buffalo, New York, he was eighty-four years old and celebrated 63 years of marriage with his beloved wife Mary Ann.

Leonard is survived by his wife Mary Ann Lewandowski, and their eight children and spouses Michele & Marc Odrobina, Gary & Carmen Lewandowski, Jennifer & Daniel Solly, Laurie Anne & David Mullane, Annette & Sean McMullen, Eric Lewandowski, Carrie & Eric Sypes, and Mary Ann & Aaron Burstein.  Proud grandfather of Steven, Katie, Laura, Geoffrey, Thomas, Rachael, Danielle, Alicia, Emily, David, Matthew, Noah, Dara, Sara, Ethan, Elizabeth, Tahlia, Andrew, Leonard, Jordan, Sebastian, Justin, Lily.  He was preceded to heaven by his parents Stanley and Elizabeth Lewandowski and grandsons Andrew, Colin, and John.  Leonard is survived by his beloved sister Lorraine Morkis and brother Lawrence Lewandowski.

After a successful 38-year career with the U.S. Postal Service, Leonard and Mary Ann relocated to Delray Beach to enjoy their retirement years.  Leonard was a modern-day Renaissance man who enjoyed playing music, painting, creating art, gardening and sharing these gifts with others.  He demonstrated his love for his wife, children, family, and faithful dog Rose until the very end.  He was known for his ever-present smile, friendly and compassionate spirit, and willingness to help others.  He was loved and will be missed by many.

The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 10:00am at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 15700 S Military Trail, Delray Beach.  Burial will directly follow at the Delray Beach Cemetery, 700 SW 8th Avenue, Delray Beach.
