Lillian S Bernhard of Delray Beach and formerly of Pittsburgh, PA passed away peacefully into God's loving hands on April 12, 2012. She is survived by her three sons John S. Bernhard of Sewickley, PA; Bill Bernhard, Honeoye Falls, New York; Charles Weber Bernhard Jr. (Sonny) who lives in Knoxville, Tennessee and one daughter, Sally Allen, who lives in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Charles Weber Bernhard who died on October 26, 1997. She was also wife of the late Dr. John Benjamin Green, sister of Wilma Chapin and daughter, Bonnie who also preceded her in death. Lillian's family includes 13 grandchildren; Jennifer Bernhard Clemmens, Jaylan Bernhard Pinto; John Schreiner Bernhard, Jr; Charles Benjamin Bernhard; Casey Green Bernhard; Amanda Paige Kittelberger; Amy Decker, Larie Allen, Daniel Williams, Debbie Bourbeau; Paul Avery Bernhard, Mark Elliott Bernhard, and Emily Ann Bernhard; as well as 12 great grand children.
A celebration of the life of Lillian Bernhard will be held at First Presbyterian Church of Delray Beach where she was a member on Saturday, April 28, 2012 at 9:30am in the sanctuary at 33 Gleason St., Delray Beach.
