Dell'Arciprete
June 10, 1931 – February 14, 2024
Louis Dell'Arciprete of Delray Beach, FL and formerly of Havertown, PA passed away on February 14, 2024. He was 92 years old.
Louis Dell'Arciprete was born in Sammartino Abruzzi, Italy and emigrated to the United States through Argentina. He and his soulmate and the love of his life, Leondina were married in November of 1959. They settled in the Havertown area outside of Philadelphia and raised their two sons.
They were devotedly married for 64 years. He was also the loving father of Colonel Joseph (Mary Pat) and Michael (Ethel) plus the dear grandfather of Christina, Joseph (Nikki) Dr. Lauren, Alyssa, and Gabriel Dell'Arciprete as well as the great grandfather of Dominic and Connie Dell'Arciprete. He will always be remembered for his great sense of humor, through all of his funny stories and jokes.
Louis worked for many years in the Alan Wood and Luken Steel Mills of Conshohocken, PA. He retired in 1996 and subsequently moved to Delray Beach, FL with his wife. He loved having dinners with family and friends. His favorite family vacation was his first trip to Walt Disney World in 1976. He enjoyed tending to his garden and his chosen fig tree. He was a home and auto painting artist and an excellent carpenter but most importantly he was a generous friend who opened his heart to everyone.
A funeral Mass will be held in his honor at 10am on Tuesday, February 20th, 2024 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, 9600 W Atlantic Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33446. Burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery, 10941 Southern Blvd, Royal Palm Beach, FL 33411.
