Marie Rose Marconi, 94, longtime resident of Delray Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on November 10, 2023. Marie was born in Harlem, New York on September 17, 1929. She was a dedicated parishioner at Emmanuel Catholic Church, an active member of the Italian-American club and devoted volunteer with The Deborah Club for many years in her local community. Getting together with her family on Sundays and cooking her iconic Italian specialty dishes was something Marie thoroughly loved. She cooked with her heart and received so much joy spending hours around the dinner table sharing stories with her loved ones. Everyone who knew Marie knew that she was a card shark and always had fun playing the game, Rummikub, with her family and friends. Always up for an adventure, Marie never missed a family function and seized every opportunity to support her children and grandchildren. In conversation, Marie's always pleasant but 'matter of fact' personality was frequently stamped with her familiar catchphrase, "And that's that."

Marie is predeceased by her parents; Angelina Andriella and Francesco Andriella, her loving brothers; John Andriella, Antonio Andriello, Thomas Andriello, and her husband of 45 years; Delfino Marconi. Marie is survived by her loving children; Peter (Renee) Marconi, Madlyn (Herb) Yonker, and John (Colleen) Marconi. Marie loved her six grandchildren; Nicole (Todd) Giordano, Michael Marconi, Michael (Christine) Schiavone, Jackie Schiavone, Katelyn (TJ) Hewitt, and Madelyn (Corey) Zaron as well has her four great grandchildren; Gianna, Brienna, Vincent and Delfino.

Marie has left behind a legacy of kindness and love and will be missed by her family and friends. The countless memories she made as the Matriarch of the Marconi Family will continue to live on. Marie's delicious family recipes, love for family traditions, infectious laugh, and sense of humor will be passed on for many generations to come.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, from 3:00pm to 7:00pm at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Avenue, Delray Beach, FL 33483. A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 17, 2023, 10:30am at Emmanuel Catholic Church, 15700 S Military Trail, Delray Beach, FL 33484 followed by entombment at the Boca Raton Mausoleum with family.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of Marie Marconi to VNA & Hospice Foundation or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital . The family would like to thank VNA Hospice House of the Treasure Coast for their compassionate care and support.
