Marion Connor Beck, a long time Florida resident, passed away on February 2, 2012. Born in Greensburg, PA to Collette and Tom Connor, Marion was a much loved English teacher at Gulf Stream School in the 1960's and Jacksonville Episcopal High School in the 1970's. Her final career was a real estate agent/broker in Palm Beach County. Marion was a strong, classy woman who loved nature, reading, the Arts and her friends and family. She is survived by her four children, Collette (Vance) LeClair of Ponte Vedra, FL, Richard (Cathy) Beck of Lake Worth, FL, Will (Cathy) Beck of Juno Beach, FL, Cynthia Beck of Lake Worth, FL and four beloved grandchildren Will, Connor, Chandler and Emily. We will miss her many newspaper clippings, keen sense of humor, guidance and love. A celebration of Marion's life will be held on Sunday, February 19, 2012, 10:00AM at R. G. Kreusler Park (North End) at Lake Worth Beach. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to your local NPR radio station.
