Mary Ann was born September 10, 1946 in Chicago IL and passed away peacefully on November 10th, 2014. Mary Ann moved to Delray Beach with her family in 1962. She attended Babson College in Babson Park, FL and managed a clothing store in Atlanta, GA before returning to Florida in the 70's. Mary had an inspiring positive attitude in dealing with chronic MS most of her adult life and kept herself engaged in the lives of her friends and family and her beloved pets, Nell and Sophie. Mary was the grounding force for everyone she knew. Mary Ann was predeceased in death by her parents, Mona and John Cherry and her brother, Jack McMahon. She leaves behind her husband, Larry; son, David; grandson, John Robert; stepson, Garry (Kim) Messick; step granddaughter, Grace; her sisters, Neva Flynn Lee (Richie Lee) and Jill Stephenson along with several nieces, nephews and life-long devoted friends. The family will be receiving friends on Thursday, November 13 from 11AM-12PM with a 12PM scripture service at Lorne and Sons Funeral Home, 745 NE 6th Ave. Delray Beach, FL 33483. In lieu of flowers Mary would have appreciated donations to the SPCA or the MS Society.
