On Saturday, December 5, 2020, Mary (Van Lennep) Plum, loving mother of three children, passed away at the age of 81.

Mary was born and raised in Flint, Michigan. She attended the University of Michigan and graduated with honors with a BS in Accounting from Florida Atlantic University. Mary was intelligent, hardworking and successful. She owned and operated her own the accounting firm Plum & Associates, where she specialized forensic accounting.

In May of 1986, she married Bill Plum. He was a founding member of the Delray Beach Club. She was very involved at the Club and enjoyed socializing, dancing and running a bridge program for several years.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved Bill. She is survived by her children: Fred Van Lennep (Debbie), Madelon Van Lennep (Alice), Hector Van Lennep (Lori) and four grandchildren: Hector, Nicholas, Gracyn and Maryn. She is also survived by brother Marx Kristek (Shirley), sisters Sue Torrey (Norm), Liz Grooms and many nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 2, 2021, 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 188 South Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach, FL. Please call St. Paul's Church (561) 276-4541 to register to attend the funeral as seating is limited to 50 people.
