Mary H.
McFadden
August 15, 1939 — August 18, 2026
Delray Beach
Mary H. McFadden, born August 15, 1939 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully at home on August 18, 2026, leaving behind a lifetime of love, family, friendship, and cherished memories.
Mary attended Incarnation Catholic Elementary School and Olney High School in Philadelphia PA. She was a field hockey player and loved to regularly attend dances where she met her beloved husband, Joseph. Together they raised their family in Levittown and Doylestown, Pennsylvania. Mary worked in the Central Bucks School District as a teacher’s aide. She most recently made her home with Joe in Delray Beach, Florida. She was a beloved wife, a devoted mother and grandmother who treasured nothing more than spending time with her family.
Mary was the loving mother of Joseph McFadden (predeceased) and his wife Teresa, James McFadden and his wife Barbara, and Kevin McFadden and his late wife Lisa. She was a proud grandmother to Joe, Shane, Catherine, Patrick, Conor, Callie, Patrick, Fallon, Brady, and great-grandmother to Nora.
Mary is survived by her sister Ann McCulla, sister-in-law Joan Voight (Lloyd), brother-in-law Dale McFadden (Sherry), and predeceased by her brother, James Noone.
Family was the heart of Mary’s life. She took great joy in watching her children and grandchildren grow while creating special memories with them. Her warmth, kindness, and love brought her family together and will remain a lasting part of their lives.
Mary had wonderful appreciation for travelling with her husband, Joe. They enjoyed exploring new places and making memories along the way. At home, she found great pleasure in playing tennis, golf, and painting crafts. However, her favorite activity was simply spending time with her family and friends.
Mary will be remembered for her loving heart, her creativity, her adventurous spirit and most of all for the love she gave so generously to her family and friends. She leaves behind a legacy of cherished memories that will live on through her children, grandchildren, family, and friends.
She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Florida and in Pennsylvania.
