Obituary

Mary Susan Rivers Fuller, 84, of Delray Beach, FL, went to be with the Lord on February 9, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to the late Dr. Lawrence and Mrs. Genevieve Rivers on November 14th, 1940 in Lexington, Massachusetts. At the age of 4 years old her family moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts. Eventually, they would call Hyannis, Massachusetts their home.

Mary attended Barnstable High School where she was chosen as "Class Flirt" by her senior class. It was at Barnstable High School where she met the "Love of Her Life", David G. Fuller, Jr.

The two decided to move to South Florida where they were married at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Ft. Lauderdale on November 19th, 1962. This was the beginning of a true love story of 62 years.

Mary would become the devoted mother to her 3 daughters, Lisa, Kim and Jenny. As a devout Catholic, she saw to it that her family attended church weekly. She was happiest when she was with her girls, shopping, decorating her home, cooking, dancing, entertaining and fashion. Mary was always well put together with beautiful bright colors. When she was with her husband, she was the "Life of the Party" known for bringing laughter to others. Mary was a special lady to those who knew her and she left a lasting impression on everyone.

Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband, David G. Fuller Jr. and loving sister, Judith O'Neil. A dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother (Bama) and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Dan Bradbary of Delray Beach, FL, Kimberly and Bob Standish of Boca Raton, FL, Jenny and Panna Sharma of Atlanta, GA; ten grandchildren, Andrew Durgee(Jamie) of Atlantis, FL, Alexis Durgee of Tallahassee, FL, Austin Durgee of Denver, CO, David Goodman(Brittany), Tallahassee, FL, Tyler Standish, Boca Raton, FL, Shelby Standish, Boca Raton, FL Peyton Standish of Boca Raton, FL, Sophia Sharma of Atlanta, GA, Dawson Sharma of Atlanta, GA and Genevieve Sharma of Atlanta, GA, four great-grandchildren,  Adelynn, Andy, Ayla Lisa Durgee and Addison Goodman; Her sisters, Catherine Rivers and Jeannie Collins and brother, Lawrence Steven Rivers.

Mary was a lover of all people and approached everyone with an open, appreciative heart. She especially loved helping the sick and those in need.
