Mary T. Whitten, 95, of Boynton Beach, formally of Quincy MA and Delray Beach passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at home.

Mary was born in Turners Falls, MA on May 3, 1922, the daughter of the late Stanislaus and Rozalia Noga. Mary grew up in Millers Falls, MA and attended Turners Falls schools. Mary was a communicate of St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, Delray Beach and Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Lantana. Mary was employed by the United States Postal Service in Miller Falls, MA.

Mary married the love of her life Lionel Whitten on November 14, 1959. They celebrated 34 years together before his untimely passing in 1993. Mary was an avid Red Sox, Celtics and Patriots fan. Mary and her husband enjoyed extensive travel throughout the world.

Mary is survived by her nieces and their family who brought her joy, Martha Smith and her husband Charlie and their daughter Elizabeth of Greenfield MA and Anne Noga of Salem MA in addition to several nieces,nephews, great nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by her brothers Steve, Ed, Henry, John and sisters Wanda Casey and Nellie Baldwin.

A funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, 1:30PM at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1000 West Lantana Road, Lantana, FL 33462. Burial will follow at Palm Beach Memorial Park, Lantana, FL

The family wishes to extend their gratitude and thanks to all of Mary's caregivers. A special thanks to GG Loving Care and Trustbridge for their support and attending to her needs and comforting her during her declining health. Mary will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
