Nancy Mae, as she liked to be called, passed peacefully in her sleep on Christmas morning of 2025 at 82 years of age. She was a native of Buffalo, New York and was a graduate of SUNY, the State University New York at Buffalo. Her early employment was as a Court Recorder for Erie County New York and is where she met and married John B. Finck, Esq. It was also there that she and John raised their three children, Ryan B. Finck, John B. Finck and Erika B. Finck. Her husband passed away in March of 1994, and Nancy Mae married Richard Conte in September 2001, residing in Florida for the past twenty-four years. Her blended family consists of two stepdaughters and two grandchildren.

The entire Finck family were avid golfers, and Nancy Mae loved spending time soaking up the sun. They spent much of their time at lnnisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor, Florida, where they had a second home. Nancy Mae was also an enthusiastic world traveler and enjoyed many adventures around the globe, including the treasures of Egypt and abundant wildlife of Africa.

A formal burial will be held this upcoming May on Cape Cod, Massachusetts at the family cemetery. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated locally at 11:30 AM on Friday, January 16, 2026 at St. Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, 840 George Bush Blvd., Delray Beach, Florida 33483. Family and friends are invited to gather immediately after the funeral Mass, details will be given at the church.
