Nancy Ann Yocum, 87, of Briny Breezes passed away on September 30, 2026. She was born Nancy Ann Weber on June 11, 1939 in Evansville, IN. She married her husband, James (Jim) Yocum, on October 1, 1966. After raising her four children, she decided to go back to school to pursue her nursing degree. She became a registered nurse and helped bring comfort and healing to many patients throughout her career.

Nancy first read about Briny Breezes in a Palm Beach Post article and immediately fell in love. She and her husband purchased a unit in 2000. What was supposed to be a place for weekend getaways became a beloved home in 2003. Nancy loved walking to the clubhouse porch to look at the ocean and enjoy the breeze. She loved gardening, cooking, and knitting. She loved decorating and would spend hours flipping through magazines for inspiration. She loved reading and looked forward to visits from the bookmobile. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, laughing with them and giving lots of hugs.

Nancy was predeceased by her late husband, James Randall Yocum, in 2020. She is survived by her husband, R. Ernest Dupuy of Boynton Beach, FL, a brother, Robert Weber, of Atlanta, GA, two sons, John Yocum of North Vernon, IN and Todd Yocum (wife Michelle) of Atlanta, GA, two daughters, Shelley Saucelo (husband Tony) of Hobe Sound, FL and Jayme Bosio (husband Anthony) of Boynton Beach, FL. She is also survived by four grandsons: Jacob Hoffman, Aidan Yocum, and Alex Yocum, all of Las Vegas, NV and Ethan Bosio of Boynton Beach, FL.

Nancy did not want a service, preferring for all of her friends and family to remember her fondly as she was when she was alive - full of life, love, and energy.
