Obituary

NELSON W. (Buzz) BROWER, 74 of Boynton Beach, passed away at home on Tuesday, April 2, 2013.
Buzz was born in Rochester, NY and grew up in Spencerport, a nearby suburb. He was born into a farming family and grew up working the soil with his uncles, cousins and Father. After graduating high school he later joined the Army and served his country in Germany from 1960 to 1963. He and Taffy were married in 1969 and moved to Pompano Beach, Florida where he earned his Master's License in plumbing. He started his own very successful plumbing business in 1973 in Boca Raton. Since retirement at age 52, he has enjoyed traveling widely with Taffy, playing lots of golf and refining his woodworking skills. He was highly talented and very artistic making toys for his grandchildren, gifts for innumerable people and loved bringing joy into the lives of many people.
Survived by wife Stephanie "Taffy" (Simmons), children Terri (David) Bourne, David, Aaron, Kristen (Chris) Reimen and step-children Rick (Linda) Sweeting, Tim (Tracey) Sweeting, Nancy (Pat) Farrell and Paula (Bruce) Parker, 15 grandchildren ( Andrew, Hanna, Sophia, Bradley, Hailey, Blake, Lilly, Emma, Cody, Jessie, Sterling, Rox, Molly, Amy and Dustin) and 5 great-grandchildren (Dillon, Madisen, Kaylie, Kenzie and Graiden. Also survived by siblings Sandra, Karen (Wes) Goehring, Dennis (Joy) and Charles (Lois). Buzz was also a loving uncle to the Simmons family of Hamlin NY and treated Colin, Lauryn and Jack as his own. He will be greatly missed by all.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013, 5:00PM at the First Baptist Church, 301 North Seacrest Blvd., Boynton Beach, FL (www.firstboynton.com).
