Obituary

Nicholas "Nick" Fenney, 87, of Highland Beach, FL and Cheshire, CT passed away suddenly on July 29, 2019.  Nick graduated from Choate Rosemary Hall where he was the hockey captain and a member of the student council.  He was a 1959 graduate of Dartmouth College and attended The Tuck School of Business. Nick, as a young Lieutenant in the United States Air Force, was chosen to be one of the original 60 Air Training Officers at the Air Force Academy in Denver, CO.  As an "ATO", Nick acted as an upper classman to the first graduating class and was also the first tennis coach. He is honored as a graduate of the Air Force Academy.  Nick went on to found Conntech Products Corporation, a successful manufacturing company, which thrived for over 40 years.

Nick is a member of The Little Club in Gulf Stream and a 20 year member of Pine Tree Country Club in Boynton Beach where he enjoyed golf with the "guys". He was an avid pilot, sailor, a ranked tennis player and golfer.

He is survived by his beloved wife Judy of 63 years, his dearly loved children Mark Fenney, Lauren Taylor and her husband Bruce Taylor. His life joy was his grandchildren, who called "Gramp" the most hands on, loving and incredible grandfather. He leaves his adored grandchildren: Nicholas Taylor, John Fenney, Kallie Taylor, Heyden Fenney and our beautiful angel Maggie Mae Fenney, who "Gramp" never missed an evening without looking up to the stars to wish her a heartfelt "Good Night".
