Nilda "Virtudes" Paisan was welcomed to Heaven on
August 24, 2016. She passed away peacefully surrounded
by family members and her husband of 57 years, Dr. Carlos
Paisan. The devoted couple was a living example of "True
Love". They made the journey from Cuba to the U.S. with
nothing but love and the will for hard work in their pockets
and the belief they could make a better life for their family.
Virtudes bestowed eternal love, empathy and selfless
devotion to her three children, Lourdes, Carlos and Maria.
She was a shining example that the simple things in life are
what matter most. Her biggest joys were her grandchildren;
Brittan, Charlie, Claudia, Cole, Gabi, Stefan, Tessa and
great grandson Jackson. They brought her immense pride
and joy. The Good Lord made perfection when he made
this "Abuelita" for her grandchildren. If the true worth of
your value in life can be measured by the love and kindness
you showed upon others, then this small 5'2" woman left
enough love to fill oceans. She will be missed but her spirit
and legacy will be with us forever.
