Phillip Michael Manning Jr. (Mickey), of Delray Beach, suddenly passed away on December 2, 2015. Mickey was born on September 25, 1948 in Chicago, IL. He was the son of Phillip and Rose Manning. He graduated from Stranahan High School in Ft. Lauderdale. After graduating from the University of Miami he earned his Juris Doctorate at John Marshall Law School. Mickey married the love of his life, Sharon, in 1977. Mickey and Sharon moved to Delray in 1978 where they raised their three children. Mickey was able to find a balance in his law practice while remaining devoted to his family, friends and faith. He was past president of the South County Florida Bar Association as well as past president of Delray Beach Rotary. He is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Sharon Manning, children, Aubrey M. Jordan, Ashley Brock (Kyle), Patrick Manning, and sister, Patricia Makaila. A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at 2:00PM at First Presbyterian Church Delray Beach, 33 Gleason St., Delray Beach, FL 33483.
