Pamela Pattin Farber passed away Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Sonata Boynton Beach at the age of 74. Pamela was a life-long resident of Delray Beach and the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. E. Monroe Farber, distinguished residents, and a prominent dentist in Delray Beach. Born on June 5, 1948 at St. Mary's Hospital in West Palm Beach. She was raised in her beloved town of Delray Beach. Pam graduated from Palm Cove Beach School in Lighthouse Point in 1966. She worked as a self-employed cosmetologist whose talents were appreciated from Palm Beach to Ft Lauderdale. One of her clients was Actress Bo Derek of Boca Raton. She loved animals of all kinds and at times, hosted a veritable menagerie of them, mostly adopted cats and birds. She was interested in antiques. Her ever-pleasant sense of humor and compassionate personality were contagious to all she met, she was genuinely interested in people, their stories, and their struggles. She was kind to strangers and made friends everywhere she went and was a devoted and faithful lifelong friend to many. Pam is a descendant of four Mayflower Passengers who arrived in Cape Cod on November 11, 1620-Elder William Brewster and his wife Mary (her 10th Great Grandparents) and Stephen Hopkins (her 9th Great Grandfather) and his son Giles (her 8th Great Grandfather).
She is survived by her brother A. Wayne Farber who lives in the Great Pacific Northwest in Bellingham Washington.
In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Humane Society , SPCA , Trustbridge Hospice of Boynton Beach or the donor's chosen charity.
