Obituary

Mrs. Pamela Jo Warren, age 79, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

Pam was born March 9, 1946, in West Palm Beach, Florida, daughter of the late William and Thelma Woldt. She graduated from McArthur High School in Hollywood, FL in 1964. During her youth, she was a devoted and active member of the Girls Scouts of Florida and in high school traveled with her troop to Europe. She met her husband Rusty through friends upon moving back to Delray Beach from Miami. They dated for 3 years before marrying for what would be a decades long adventure.

Pam is survived by her husband, Russell "Rusty" Warren, and her son, Timothy Warren (Lisa Warren). Family and faith were Pam's first loves, and she doted on her two grandchildren, Emma and Trent Warren. They and many other family members cherish the beautiful artwork, blankets, PJs, Christmas ornaments, and murals she so lovingly made for them. Pam is also survived by her sister, Rebecca "Becky" Kraimer (Robert Kraimer).

Pam began her career in the insurance industry and later worked with Rusty to establish Rusty Plumbing of Delray in 1975 and went on to run the family business successfully for 41 years, through its sale in 2016.

She was a devoted and enthusiastic member of Southern Handcraft Society, serving in many leadership roles over the years. She enjoyed inspiring and mentoring anyone interested in learning or having a passion for art and loved preparing for art shows and festivals. She was for years, the consummate baseball and Cub Scout Mom to Tim and his number one fan. She and Rusty loved their date nights on Fridays at Bud's Chicken (their local favorite); celebrating their anniversary each year; and enjoyed traveling together. One of their favorite destinations was Alaska, having visited three times over the years.

Pam was a devout Southern Baptist. She was an active participant in many church groups over the years, and a founding member of Barwick Road Baptist Church in Delray Beach. While at Barwick Road Baptist Church, Pam led the Vacation Bible School summer programs, volunteered in the church nursery, and helped where she could in other areas.

Friends and family may call on Monday, April 21, 2025, from 12:00pm to 1:00pm with a Memorial Service to follow from 1:00pm to 2:00pm, led by Pastor Ralph Nygard at the Lorne & Sons Funeral Home, 745 N.E. 6th Avenue, Delray Beach. Pam will be cremated, as to her wishes, and laid to rest at South Florida National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
