Patricia Berger (Patti), 80, of Boynton Beach, FL, formerly of Columbia Station, OH, passed away peacefully in her sleep on June 26, 2021. Patti was predeceased by her husband of 59 years Roger Berger in 2010.
Patti was a tomboy growing up and loved playing baseball, was a crack shot at marbles and was often chastised by the nuns at school for getting her dress dirty. Patti had a great respect of nature and enjoyed spending time in the outdoors and shared that love with her family on summer camping trips and family vacation road trips to other states. She loved all God's creatures great and small and any stray cat or dog that we brought home was automatically part of the family. Patti had a green thumb and had many houseplants with orchids being her favorite. She loved butterflies and would plant flowering plants in the yard to attract them.
Patti loved to cook and bake and was known to cook enough for an army. Holidays were a truly festive time of year with multiple dishes of foods being cooked along with baking dozens of different types of cookies, pastries and pies. She really enjoyed being around people and sincerely loved listening and learning their stories. Patti was an avid reader of anything from fiction to self help books; anything to expand the mind.
Patti is survived by her sister Debbie (Lee) Grether and sons Tim (Rose) Tolaro, Roger Berger, Marc Berger, Scott Berger, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
